In einer Medien- und Informationsgesellschaft mit immer vielfältigeren und schnelleren Informations- und Kommunikationsplattformen gilt: Eine Krise kann jeden treffen. Unternehmen und Institutionen sind als Akteure in der Öffentlichkeit dem Risiko ausgesetzt, unvorhergesehen und auf unangenehme Weise ins Rampenlicht zu geraten. IFOK unterstützt bei der Krisenprävention.

The “Berliner Personalgespräche – Beschäftigungschancen im demografischen Wandel” [Berlin HR discussions – employment opportunities in demographic change] are organised by Deutsche Bahn AG as part of the Initiative für Beschäftigung (IfB!) [initiative for employment] and held by IFOK. The series of discussions focuses on demographic change and associated key HR and employment policy issues. Securing new talent and a qualified workforce, maintaining employability, or securing knowledge – demographic change confronts business, politics, and society as a whole with a range of new tasks, which need to be mastered. The aim of the Berliner Personalgespräche is to discuss concrete project experiences, successful concepts, and expertise with HR decision-makers and scientists in order to learn from each other and jointly develop new approaches for employment opportunities. The small, exclusive group of participants is mainly made up of executive board members responsible for HR, HR managers, and CEOs. Keynote lectures and discussions with “celebrities” from politics and science, such as Berlin’s Education Senator Jürgen Zöllner, President of the Social Science Research Center, Jutta Allmendinger, or the State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Family, Hermann Kues, are a fixed part of the meetings. IFOK is responsible for event design and organisation. Within a short space of time, IFOK has established the series of discussions as an exclusive HR platform, with exciting topics, innovative topic focus, interesting presentations, and a strong event format.
